Cervical erosion degree 2 where is good

Patient's question:

I've been divorced for two years, and my husband wants a child. However, recently during a health check-up, the hospital discovered that I have cervical erosion of degree 2 and advised me to seek treatment before trying to conceive. But I'm getting older, and I've heard that it's possible for someone in my situation to still get pregnant and give birth.

Doctor's answer:

Cervical erosion is one manifestation of chronic cervical inflammation, and cervical erosion is not what we commonly recognize as erosion. When the epidermis at the external os of the cervix peels off and is replaced by another type of epithelial tissue, the newly formed epithelial covering is very thin, even allowing the underlying blood vessels and red to be visible, giving it the appearance of true erosion. This is why it is called cervical erosion, although in reality, it is not true erosion.
Symptoms of second-degree cervical erosion include an increase in leukorrhea, typically viscous or purulent mucus, sometimes accompanied by a foul odor, sometimes with blood or intermenstrual bleeding. Secondary symptoms include itching or burning discomfort of the external genitalia, pain in the lower abdomen or lumbosacral region, which worsens during intercourse, menstruation, and defecation. Some may also experience symptoms such as bilateral lower limb weakness, bitter taste in the mouth, nausea, and yellowish urine.
