Features: The overall approach to compiling this textbook is to base it on the existing accounting practices in China, fully reflecting the latest achievements of China's accounting reforms and its trend of aligning with international accounting standards. It emphasizes the content of fundamental theories, methods, and skills, expands the scope of the textbook, and is not confined to the current enterprise accounting system. Following the basic framework of general textbooks, it focuses on elucidating the fundamental issues of corporate financial accounting. While remaining true to the national conditions, it boldly incorporates mature international accounting practices and methods, while also reflecting the latest trends in the development of contemporary financial accounting. In the textbook, we strive to enhance theoretical depth, broaden the content of accounting practices, and as much as possible, explain the potential choices of accounting methods, their background, and their advantages and disadvantages. This allows readers to understand both the "what" and the "why" of accounting theory and methods. At the same time, considering the trend of aligning China's accounting with international standards, we aim to present content that is both in line with national conditions and possesses a certain degree of foresight. We appropriately introduce international accounting standards and analyze their differences from China's accounting practices. In the introduction of accounting procedures and methods, we are not limited to the accounting issues of a specific industry but focus on explaining the fundamental common problems of corporate financial accounting. This textbook is primarily designed for accounting majors at the junior college level. For non-undergraduate accounting majors and finance majors in non-accounting fields, teachers may select key chapters for instruction. This textbook can also serve as a reference for working accounting and finance cadres and self-study learners of financial accounting. Each chapter of the textbook is followed by important terms, review questions, and exercises to facilitate teaching and learning.
