Will hydrosalpinx resolve on its own?

Patient's question:

I haven't felt well recently, and a hospital check-up suggests it might be hydronephrosis of the fallopian tubes. I want to know if hydronephrosis of the fallopian tubes can resolve on its own?

Doctor's answer:

There are many reasons for tubal hydrops. Induced abortion, unclean conditions leading to tubal infection and inflammation, prolonged infection of pathogens in the fallopian tubes can cause swelling and edema of the luminal lining, shedding of the tubal mucosal epithelium, and repeated blockages. Accumulation of secretions from the mucosal cells in the lumen forms hydrops.
Advice: It is recommended to visit a hospital for examination to identify the cause and then receive targeted treatment. Blind measures are not advised to avoid worsening the condition.
