Patient's question:
Candidal vaginitis treatment later came menstruation, the amount was particularly small, and it was white. Is this condition serious? What tests need to be done? Can menstruation occur? Is it serious for the menstrual amount to be small and black after vaginitis?Doctor's answer:
It may be due to qi stagnation and blood stasis, resulting in dark-colored menstruation, irregular menstrual cycles, varying menstrual flow, purplish-red color with clots, and difficult menstruation. It may also be accompanied by lower abdominal pain and tenderness, or pain in the chest, hypochondria, breasts, or lower abdomen, stuffy feeling in the stomach, purplish-dark tongue with petechiae, thin white or yellow tongue coating, and wiry or thready pulse.Treatment should focus on promoting blood circulation to resolve stasis and regulating qi to alleviate pain. Alternatively, it may be due to kidney deficiency, resulting in dark-colored menstruation: irregular menstrual cycles, reduced flow, pale red or dark red color with thin consistency. Symptoms may include soreness in the lower back and knees, heel pain, dizziness and tinnitus, or coldness in the lower abdomen, or frequent nighttime urination. The tongue is pale, and the pulse is deep and weak or slow.
