Features: This textbook was compiled to meet the teaching needs of undergraduate students in economics at higher education institutions, based on our several years of teaching practice. The fundamental principles of modern Western economics mainly include two parts: microeconomics and macroeconomics. We《Modern Western Economics Tutorial》 and publish it in two volumes. The first volume covers the principles of microeconomics, while the second volume covers the principles of macroeconomics. There are many such textbooks abroad, with numerous new editions. Generally speaking, although they differ slightly in detail, they continue to be enriched and improved in terms of content and rigor. In recent years, many translations and compilations of such textbooks have been published in China, each with its own strengths and characteristics. Our textbook, on the other hand, draws on existing domestic and international versions, incorporating the best of both while avoiding weaknesses, striving to achieve a systematic, comprehensive, rigorous, and accessible presentation that reflects the latest developments.
