What are the harms of appendicitis to the body?

Patient's question:

I had a health check-up last year and found that I had health problems, such as issues with my gynecology. I usually also regulate myself, but I ended up getting adnexitis. I was very upset and cared about the fundamental treatment. I cared about what kind of help: Does adnexitis pose any harm to the body?

Doctor's answer:

The cervical glands and surrounding connective tissue are fibrotic. When the glandular ducts are pushed by the surrounding connective tissue, the gland orifices become blocked, preventing the secretion within the glands from draining out and causing it to accumulate internally. This leads to the expansion of the glandular cavities, forming cystic tumors of varying sizes, which are referred to as "cervical gland retention cysts," also known as Nabothian cysts. Pelvic pain or dysmenorrhea may recur, often worsening during menstruation, bowel movements, or sexual intercourse. Additionally, menstrual irregularities and infertility may occur.
