Publish Date: 2004-01-01
Features: With the deepening and development of socialist rule of law, numerous health laws and regulations have been successively promulgated and implemented. Therefore, learning health law has become an important course content for higher medical colleges. This book was jointly written by teachers from the School of Public Health and the School of Law at Peking University after the promulgation of the "Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Medical Accident Handling Regulations." As a result, its content is more substantial and novel than previous textbooks. The content of this book is mainly divided into six parts. The first part covers an overview of health law, health legislation, and health administrative enforcement, which is the basic theoretical part; the second part discusses health administrative disputes, health administrative reconsideration, and health administrative litigation; the third part elaborates on various relevant health laws and regulations, which is the main part; the fourth part focuses on the legal provisions for handling medical accidents. Although the "Medical Accident Handling Regulations" is an administrative regulation, the issues it addresses differ from other health laws and regulations, so it is presented as a separate part; the fifth part covers legislation related to the development of medicine and medical technologies, which is content that medical students should be familiar with; the sixth part provides an introduction to international health law. After joining the WTO, medical students should have a better understanding of this topic. To better integrate theory with practice, experienced practitioners were invited to participate in the writing of this book. They include Chen Zhihua from Beijing Hua Wei Law Firm, Liu Chun from the Journal of Law and Medicine, Zhu Zhaoyin from the Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection Bureau, and Wu Zhengchen from the Legal Affairs Office of the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government of Zhejiang Province. This book is suitable for teachers and students of health service management, as well as any medical personnel and legal professionals interested in health law.
