Features: A New Edition of the Handbook of Dermatological Drugs is a clinically-oriented book designed to meet the practical needs of dermatologists in terms of drug use and the preparation of topical formulations. The book features up-to-date, comprehensive, and highly practical information, primarily intended for dermatologists, pharmacists, and medical technicians in various healthcare units, as well as professionals in dermatological drug research and production. Currently, the development and introduction of new drugs in China are progressing rapidly, with a wide variety of products. No single pharmacological book can encompass all the latest information, but there should be a comprehensive and regularly updated reference book to adapt to the evolving demands of scientific and technological advancement and the changing needs of clinical practice. In this regard, dermatology is particularly lacking. Therefore, based on practical needs, we have selected 818 commonly used dermatological drugs and 718 topical formulations for this book, organized into 5 chapters and 56 sections. Each drug and formulation is introduced with details such as the drug name, English name, additional information, molecular formula, characteristics, mechanism of action, indications, composition, preparation method, and notes (side effects, contraindications). The book also includes both Chinese and English indexes for easy reference. Except for a very small number of exceptions, traditional Chinese medicine flavors are not included in this book.
