Features: A good language environment is a very important objective condition for learning a foreign language, but Chinese students generally lack such an immersive language environment. Therefore, to successfully fulfill the tasks and requirements set by the English teaching syllabus, adapt to the needs of talent in the 21st century, improve the quality of the entire population, enhance the quality of English teaching, and improve learners' ability to use the English language, it is essential to create conditions and environments for students to listen to and speak English. Especially after China joined the WTO, the demand for foreign language learning has become increasingly high, and the ability to use foreign languages for communication has been placed on higher requirements. For this reason, teachers should try their best to organize teaching in English. Students can appreciate the beauty of the English language through their teachers' elegant and appropriate spoken English, thereby developing interest and motivation to learn English. Teachers should use carefully selected, concise, vivid, and vivid language, with accurate word choice and sentence structure, clear pronunciation, appropriate intonation, and a sense of charm and humor. Additionally, they should strive to use simple, easy-to-understand, and familiar sentence patterns and vocabulary to help students review and consolidate the language knowledge they have learned, while also cultivating their listening and speaking skills. Teachers' expressive language can also be varied and enriched according to changes in lesson types and teaching content, providing students with a sense of novelty and thus creating a lively classroom atmosphere. Practice has proven that teachers' flexible and natural use of English in the classroom is key to creating a positive atmosphere. Any teaching that pays attention to spoken English generally yields better results. Only in this way can teachers deliver lively and engaging lessons, attract students' attention, make it easier for them to understand, and ultimately achieve teaching objectives. For this purpose, we referred to relevant domestic and international materials and, based on our teaching practice and the needs of foreign language teaching in the new era, compiled this small book as a reference for teachers, aiming to assist them in English teaching. The book draws from a wide range of sources and provides common extracurricular expressions for English teachers and students at all levels. The appendix aims to provide readers with references on scientific and technical terms and gives a brief introduction to major domestic and international festivals. It also compiles names of countries, places, people, and some high-frequency vocabulary for reference.
