Does chronic cervical inflammation cause lesions?

Patient's question:

Chronic cervical inflammation, nabothian cyst, cervical erosion. TCT and HPV tests were normal in July. In September, I started experiencing pain in the lower leg, which has now become severe. The cervix also aches intermittently, accompanied by lower back pain and occasional abdominal pain. Could it be cervical cancer?

Doctor's answer:

The cervix will never experience intermittent pain; lower back pain and abdominal pain may indicate a possible pelvic inflammation issue. Since you have already undergone thorough TCT and HPV tests, it is not cervical cancer. Focus on treating pelvic inflammation, undergo a pelvic double-contrast examination, pay close attention to personal hygiene, change underwear and pants frequently, maintain clean external genitalia, follow a light diet, and avoid sexual intercourse during treatment.
