The publication of this series embodies the collective efforts of all the authors and also continues the historical heritage of the administrative management discipline at Donghua University. Since the 1950s, Professor Zhou Shiqiu, a renowned administrative management scholar and Harvard University Ph.D., engaged in teaching and research at the former East China Textile Institute (the predecessor of Donghua University) until his passing. His academic demeanor left a profound impression on us. Although limited by the professional settings at the time, Professor Zhou was unable to establish the administrative management major during his lifetime, but having a teaching team for administrative management and a batch of high-quality research achievements had always been his wish. The publication of this series can be considered as fulfilling Professor Zhou's wish.
