Features: Network information activities are a brand-new field of information activities conducted on the Internet, which can be broadly divided into network information production activities, network information transmission activities, and network information consumption activities. Network information activities hold a pivotal position in contemporary human society. Currently, China's network information activities are developing at a rapid pace, showing a strong tendency to catch up with and surpass developed countries like Europe and the United States. However, in the process of China's network information activity development, many phenomena that deviate from the mainstream of human civilization have emerged, and many weak links have also been exposed. Therefore, strengthening the regulation of China's network information activities is highly targeted and of great practical significance. The regulation of network information activities can be carried out at three levels: ethical, policy, and legal. Ethical regulation is a soft form of regulation, legal regulation is a hard form of regulation, and policy regulation falls between the two. The three complement each other and jointly constitute the regulatory system for China's network information activities.
