Features: With the continuous deepening of educational reform, the number of graduate students enrolled each year in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) institutions across the country is steadily increasing. For master's degree candidates, it is crucial to conduct comprehensive, systematic, and in-depth review of clinical professional courses within a relatively short period, mastering the key knowledge of the discipline. At the invitation of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Press, we organized some master's supervisors with rich clinical teaching experience and master's graduates to participate in the writing of the "National TCM Graduate Entrance Examination Tutoring Series," specifically the volumes on TCM Surgery, TCM Pediatrics, and TCM Gynecology.
Based on the disciplinary characteristics of TCM Surgery, TCM Pediatrics, and TCM Gynecology, combined with the key, difficult, and essential points of past exams, as well as the weak areas of candidates during the examination process, the writing primarily follows the national unified teaching materials of the sixth edition, supplemented by the fifth edition, with the basic framework based on the undergraduate teaching syllabus. The content is organized largely in the order of the textbooks. Through the explanation of concepts, key points, and focal points in each chapter, coupled with simulated questions, the series aims to provide targeted tutoring for candidates, enabling them to demonstrate their true abilities and achieve good results.
Of course, in addition to assessing students' breadth and depth of understanding of the textbooks, the master's entrance examination also focuses on clinical and research priorities and hot topics. Therefore, for each candidate, it is equally important to broaden their knowledge by reading newspapers and journals and accumulating insights.
