Fragment: Broadcasting and hosting art, while inheriting and drawing upon the principles of other arts as stipulated by those principles, also has its own requirements for inheritance. Broadcasting and hosting art is very young, and its growth and development need to utilize the interconnectedness of artistic principles to draw upon the outstanding achievements of other arts and related fields. As a linguistic and cultural phenomenon, "in national culture, language holds unparalleled cognitive value, practical value, preservation value, philosophical value, artistic value, and aesthetic value"①, it needs to be rooted in the soil of national culture and absorb the essence of linguistic art. The necessity of inheritance and borrowing in broadcasting and hosting art is not only due to external conditions but also results from the internal contradictions of broadcasting and hosting itself. Although broadcasting and hosting art has a relatively short history, it has already developed its own excellent traditions, valuable experiences, and distinct styles. The interconnection and interaction between broadcasting and hosting art and other arts are becoming increasingly evident. The internal contradictions of broadcasting creation make its demand for inheritance and borrowing even stronger, so the inheritance and borrowing of broadcasting and hosting art are essential for its development and innovation, and are a result of its internal contradictions. (2) Main Content of Inheritance and Borrowing The content of inheritance and borrowing in broadcasting and hosting art should be multiple and diverse. The content of inheritance includes excellent traditions, valuable experiences, and creative methods, among which excellent traditions can be further divided into: national cultural traditions, Chinese linguistic traditions, people's radio traditions, and broadcasting creation traditions. The content of borrowing is also multifaceted, including borrowing from sister arts, other language expression methods, interdisciplinary borrowing, borrowing from cultural and artistic traditions of different ethnic groups and foreign countries in radio, television, broadcasting, and hosting, as well as mutual learning and borrowing between individual creators. First, let's look at the content to be inherited. The first is excellent traditions. Tradition, in the modern sense, "refers to cultural, ideological, moral, customs, psychological, artistic, and institutional heritage passed down through history, with certain characteristics, and is a concept with a broad extension and a general reflection of objective things." From the perspective of ethnology, every ethnic group in the world has its own traditions. This is a complex whole, and this complexity indicates that as a social existence, tradition has multifaceted, multi-layered complex contents and relationship networks"②.
