The forum's structure was scientifically sound and well-organized, rich in content, adhering to international practices while also reflecting the characteristics of the Yellow River. The forum featured a central main venue and specialized sessions such as River Basin Management and Water Resources, Mathematical Models and IT Technology, Challenge Program, Water Measurement and Monitoring Technology, River Basin Water Transfer, Water Rights, and Water Markets, River Channel Regulation, Ecological and Environmental Protection, Legal Frameworks and Water Pollution, as well as the Youth Forum. Over a hundred inspiring presentations were made by experts and scholars on topics including river basin management, water resources, ecological environment, river channel regulation, sediment research, hydrological measurement and reporting, and information technology. The forum also facilitated extensive exchanges through various formats such as dialogues, technical seminars, and free communication both during and outside the sessions. To better absorb advanced concepts and experiences in river basin management from around the world, a brief technical summary of the conference papers was prepared. Views from representative domestic and international experts were compiled and edited based on the official records of the conference.
