Its research and practice not only require natural sciences such as water resources, ecology, and environment but also extensively involve social sciences and humanities, including philosophy, economics, culture, and ecology, among others. It necessitates broad participation and joint efforts from the entire society.
For this very reason, the Yellow River Conservancy Commission has decided to carry out research on cultural and social aspects, such as "River Ethics," while conducting in-depth studies on the theoretical framework and practical system of "Maintaining the Healthy Life of the Yellow River." These studies will be an integral part of the theoretical system of "Maintaining the Healthy Life of the Yellow River."
