Features: This book is another collection of achievements following the "Third Collection of Soil and Water Conservation Research Results of Xifeng Soil and Water Conservation Station (1986-1988)." The entire book compiles and organizes papers published in provincial-level scientific journals and presented at major academic conferences by researchers of Xifeng Soil and Water Conservation Station from 1989 to 2003, as well as scientific and technological achievements undertaken by the station. A total of 136 papers were selected (including 7 comprehensive discussions, 42 studies on soil erosion patterns and soil conservation benefits, 61 papers on agricultural, forestry, and grassland measures, 17 papers on water resource utilization and gully engineering measures, and 9 other papers), along with 17 scientific and technological achievements, which were formally compiled and published. During the editing process, the compilers strived to maintain the original form of the papers as they were awarded or published, making only necessary corrections for omissions. The primary purpose of the fourth collection of achievements by Xifeng Soil and Water Conservation Station is to strengthen scientific and technological exchanges in soil and water conservation, promote scientific research on soil and water conservation in the Loess Plateau, and advance the Yellow River soil and water conservation ecological engineering project, serving the construction of the "Three Yellow Rivers" and particularly the "Model Loess Plateau," contributing to the maintenance of the Yellow River's health and vitality.
