Patient's question:
Doctor, I am 30 years old this year and have a question to ask you. That is, can I get pregnant with endometrial hyperplasia? I started trying to get pregnant about 9 months ago, and a few months ago, my menstrual periods began to be irregular, sometimes more and sometimes less. After going to the hospital, they said my endometrium had hyperplasia. Doctor, is the possibility of getting pregnant still high in my case?Doctor's answer:
Endometrial hyperplasia is divided into four categories: simple hyperplasia, complex hyperplasia, and atypical hyperplasia. The three types differ in their interference with pregnancy and treatment methods. If a patient is diagnosed with endometrial fibrosis and also experiences irregular menstruation, a hysteroscopy should be performed, followed by an endometrial biopsy for pathological examination to determine the nature of the fibrosis. For simple and complex fibrosis, pregnancy is not affected, and oral medication can be used for treatment. Patients with atypical hyperplasia are advised not to conceive and should follow medical advice for pregnancy after gynecological clinic treatment.
