Features: This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Canada, and the publication of the "Encyclopedia of Canada" also holds significant meaning for our bilateral relations. In the past year, Prime Minister Jean Chrétien of Canada's visit to China and Prime Minister Li Peng's visit to Canada have further strengthened the traditional friendly cooperative relationship between the two countries. As early as the last century, Chinese workers helped Canada construct its national railway, while Canadian missionaries came to China to spread knowledge of healthcare and establish educational institutions.
