Patient's question:
I am a 45-year-old housewife who suffers from severe cervical inflammation, mainly with some inflammation on the upper skin, where there are some small growths. Sometimes, apart from itching, it also comes with a foul odor, making me feel embarrassed in front of others. Is there any medication that can treat this?Doctor's answer:
(1) Increased leukorrhea: Increased leukorrhea is the most common symptom of cervical inflammation. Symptoms such as increased leukorrhea, turbidity, a foul odor, purulent discharge, or blood-tinged leukorrhea, along with difficulty urinating, frequent urination, and urgency, are typical gynecological inflammatory symptoms of cervical inflammation and cervical erosion.(2) Pain: Most people frequently experience pain in the lower abdomen or lumbar-sacral region. This pain may also occur in the upper abdomen, thighs, or hip joints, and may worsen during menstruation, bowel movements, or sexual activity.
(3) Other symptoms: Such as irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, pelvic heaviness, and infertility.
Common symptoms of cervical diseases: In cases of mild cervical erosion, patients generally experience no obvious symptoms, or may only notice a slight increase in leukorrhea, which is often easily overlooked. Moderate to severe cervical erosion patients exhibit the most prominent symptom of increased leukorrhea, which is yellow, viscous, and thick.
