How is cervical inflammation formed?

Patient's question:

Before my divorce, I had a pre-marital health check-up and there were no gynecological diseases. However, after the divorce, after having sex with my husband once, I felt pain inside. Besides white discharge, when I went to the hospital for a thorough check-up, the doctor said it was caused by cervicitis, and it's still just mild.

Doctor's answer:

Recurrent after childbirth, miscarriage, or surgical injury to the cervix. The pathogens are mainly:
1) Sexually transmitted disease pathogens: Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Mycoplasma genitalium.
2) Endogenous pathogens: Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Escherichia coli, and anaerobic bacteria, etc.
3) Others: Protozoa include Trichomonas and amoebas. Under special circumstances, it may be caused by chemicals and radiation.
Chronic cervicitis is a chronic erosive or proliferative inflammation of the cervix, often resulting from acute cervicitis, but it may also show no obvious acute phase. Chronic cervicitis is a common clinical diagnosis, with incidence significantly increasing with age. It is rarely seen in married women. It is mainly caused by irritation to the cervix during menstruation and sexual activity. Cervicitis can lead to infertility.
