Features: Cheng Tinglu (1796–1858), originally named Zhenlu, styled Yunzhen, Wenchu, styled Lüqing, later changed his name to Tinglu, styled Xubo, styled Hengxiang, Hongheng Sheng, Yinxiang An, Wangmiao Xueren, Huayunzi, Hegcha Shanmin, were all his self-adopted names. Later, he also styled himself An and Meng'an. A native of Jiading (now part of Shanghai), he was a student of the Zaju system. In his early years, he studied under Chen Wenshu and stayed in Wumen (now Suzhou, Jiangsu) for a long time. Skilled in poetry and prose, he also excelled in painting and seal carving. His landscape painting was influenced by Qian Du, with a style that was clear, green, profound, and close to Li Liufang. His seal carving traced back to the Qin and Han dynasties through Ding Jing and Huang Yi, and he was quite proud of it. He had works such as "Tianyang Yangzhizhai Collection," "Hongheng Ci," "Lianshui Huazhenglu," "Zuo'an Huachen," "Duoxiailu," "Xiaosong Yuange Zazhu," and "Xiaosong Yuange Yin Cun." He passed away at the age of sixty-three.
