Features: Sketching is a form of expression in the art of painting. Sketching is a technique that quickly and concisely depicts objects within a short period of time, and it is also an important means of cultivating observational skills and visual memory. Sketching is not only favored by painters but also beloved by children. For a long time, sketching has become a mandatory course for children's painting learning. However, in terms of teaching methods, it has not broken free from the training approaches of professional art schools. This method, due to its excessive emphasis on skills, overlooks the feelings of children, suppressing their inherent potential, spirit, emotions, and creativity. Simply treating sketching as basic skill training or purely for collecting reference material is not scientific. In my opinion, children's sketching itself is a form of creation and possesses independent aesthetic value, as it hides their wisdom. Therefore, it can be said that the so-called standardized methods and approaches are not entirely suitable for the needs of children at this stage learning sketching. This training method progresses from simple to complex, step by step, based on children's cognitive patterns, adhering to artistic principles, and respecting their own feelings, experiences, and expressions. It is particularly evident in its closeness to children's lives, integrating knowledge, fun, flexibility, and creativity. It can be said that this method is suitable for children to learn and master the language of sketching, allowing them to express their emotions and inner world freely.
