Features: On December 11, 2001, after 15 years of tough negotiations, China finally joined the World Trade Organization (WTO). In the "Protocol of China's Accession to the World Trade Organization," China committed to amending laws and regulations that do not comply with WTO rules. To this end, since 1999, China has conducted large-scale reviews, abolitions, revisions, and new formulations of economic and trade laws and regulations. Currently, a legal system for economic and trade that is both compliant with WTO rules and adapted to China's national conditions has been basically established. To facilitate a comprehensive understanding, learning, and mastery of these economic and trade laws, regulations, and rules, as well as commonly used international economic and trade treaties and agreements, international economic and trade practices, we have completely revised the "Selected Regulations on Economic and Trade Laws." (The entire set of agreements and protocols of the WTO, along with the Protocol of China's Accession to the World Trade Organization and the Working Party Report, are important components of China's economic and trade law. Due to their extensive length and the availability of a combined edition, they have not been included in this book.) This book can serve as a legal manual for economic and trade work, as well as a reference book for industry training and teaching in various economic and trade institutions.
