Features: The entries in this book are arranged in alphabetical order of English letters, and articles as well as infinitives "to" are generally not counted. Due to the complexity of the content, the book is divided into five parts: Special Terms and Common Phrases; Customs Institutions and Job Titles; Coastal and Yangtze River Place Names; Inland Waterway Place Names; Supplementary Place Names. The entries collected in this book mainly cover three aspects: customs-specific terms, technical terms, and common phrases; customs organizations and job titles; customs-related place names. The entries in Part I are relatively extensive, in addition to special terms and common phrases, they also include some Chinese and foreign historical figures and institutions, as well as translations of Chinese and foreign treaties; The entries in Part II include customs headquarters and branch customs organizations and job titles, as well as a small number of institution names closely related to customs. The third part is the supplementary place names related to customs, referring to place names appearing in customs archives but not included in coastal and Yangtze River place names or inland waterway place names, as well as different translations of the same place name.
