Features: The judgment documents selected in this book were all concluded and took effect in the year 2000. Their common characteristics are as follows: The cases are typical, and the facts of the cases are confirmed through the analysis and determination of evidence. The reasoning for the judgment is sufficient, reflecting the entire process of forming the judgment result. The book also addresses evidence that is not accepted and the claims of the plaintiff and defendant, demonstrating procedural fairness and the fairness of the judgment result. The reform of judgment documents in various levels of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Courts started relatively early. At the provincial court's conference on the reform of judicial procedures in 1998, the provincial court put forward clear requirements for improving the quality of judgment documents. After nearly three years of effort, significant achievements have been made, with many high-quality judgment documents emerging. This book selects more than 100 outstanding judgment documents from hundreds of thousands of judgment documents across the province. On one hand, it serves to evaluate the achievements we have made in reforming judgment documents and to showcase the civilized image and judicial fairness of the courts to the public. On the other hand, it provides examples for judges to study, learn from, and evaluate, with the aim of further improving the quality of judgment document preparation.
