Features: This book is based on the "Unified Standard for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Building Engineering" (GB50300-2001) and the "Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Foundation and Foundation Engineering" (GB50202-2002), and is written in accordance with current design and construction standards. The manual primarily introduces the construction and quality acceptance of foundation and foundation engineering. The entire book is divided into ten chapters, including: Overview, Foundations, Pile Foundations, Earthwork Engineering, Foundation Pit Engineering, Concrete Foundations, Masonry Foundations, Underground Waterproofing, Mandatory Provisions of Construction Engineering Standards, and Acceptance of Division (Sub-division) Engineering. The content of the entire book is organized according to the structural requirements of the standards, fully reflecting the principle of "separation of acceptance and evaluation, strengthening acceptance, improving means, and process control." Given that concrete foundations and masonry foundations are still the two most commonly used types of foundations in construction, although they are not included in the standards, this book provides a brief introduction to them as well. Additionally, foundation and foundation construction often involves underground waterproofing, so this book dedicates a chapter to underground waterproofing. This is done to enable readers to understand foundation and foundation engineering while also learning about underground waterproofing, thereby making the content of the book more comprehensive.
