Recurrent long physiological ovarian cysts

Patient's question:

I have an itchy lower body, and my underwear is always yellow. What's going on? Also, I keep getting physiological ovarian cysts.

Doctor's answer:

Physiological ovarian cysts generally do not require surgical treatment. They usually shrink and disappear on their own within 3 months. If symptoms reappear, medication can be used to alleviate them. Physiological ovarian cysts are typically found in women of reproductive age and are most commonly formed after menopause. They usually disappear after menstruation. If, after three months of follow-up, the cyst has not disappeared and is relatively large, surgical treatment may be necessary.
