It is the "first series of high-stakes review textbooks in China," emphasizing foundational knowledge, capturing the times, reflecting local characteristics, highlighting comprehensiveness, and strictly following lesson-based writing to truly enter the classroom, serving as an operational carrier for teachers and students to conduct efficient reviews in class, maximizing review efficiency. Since its launch, the book has been warmly welcomed and highly recognized by senior high school teachers and students.
To better grasp the new trends of the 2006 high-stakes reform, we organized senior-level teachers, subject leaders, and experienced high-stakes research experts from dozens of top national demonstration high schools across the country to jointly compile the 2006 edition of The Complete Quality High School Review Plan (including teacher and student editions), providing senior high school teachers and students with a scientific and comprehensive preparation plan. "No mistakes, innovation, and practicality" are the core concepts of the book's design.
"No mistakes" — We integrated the educational resources of top-tier schools and teachers from dozens of first-class institutions. From the initial concept to the final proofreading, experts supervised every step, and master teachers meticulously refined the content, infusing their professionalism into every part and detail of the book. After three rounds of review and five rounds of proofreading, we again organized experts and first-line senior high school teachers to review and refine the content in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi, Tianjin, Beijing, Anhui, Chongqing, Liaoning, Shandong, and Sichuan. We conducted time-limited trials in over 100 key high schools and ordinary schools across urban and rural areas, promptly correcting any errors or imperfections found during review or trial, challenging "zero errors," and ensuring readers buy with confidence, use with ease, and perform with satisfaction.
"Innovation" — The book's format is entirely derived from our first-line research with teachers and students, listening to the most authentic voices from senior high school first-line educators, fully respecting the actual needs of senior high school review teaching. Designed in accordance with the lesson sequences specified in the Exam Syllabus, it truly "enters the classroom," achieving effective interaction between teaching and learning, and maximizing review efficiency.
"Content" is the guarantee of the book's intrinsic quality. For The Complete Quality High School Review Plan, content innovation is more reflected in the completeness and fluency of the ideas and processes, the scientific and novel yet effective review strategies provided, the rich and valuable preparation resources, and the original and thought-provoking examples, exercises, and test questions. These are closely linked to production, social life, and the latest technological and cultural developments, focusing on hot and focal issues. We organized a large number of high-stakes question-setting experts to compile new questions that represent the trends of the high-stakes reform based on new contexts and scenarios. We absorbed the latest high-stakes test questions or mock questions from professional journals and magazines, rephrased classic questions from new perspectives, accurately guiding the direction of high-stakes review, and imbuing it with a strong sense of the times.
"Practicality" — the actual needs of the first-round review for high-stakes exams, fully implementing the spirit of the Exam Syllabus by the Ministry of Education's Examination Center, which emphasizes "mainly medium-difficulty questions," focusing on solidly building a foundation, ensuring candidates can steadily secure basic scores, and preparing them for tackling difficult questions in terms of knowledge, skills, methods, and mindset.
