Features: Acts of crime are the first type of crime to be established in the theory of criminal law in the civil law system. Generally, acts of crime are considered to be in contrast to result crimes. Acts of crime are established as complete upon the performance of a certain act that meets the constitutive requirements of the crime, without necessarily involving harm or danger to legal interests; the constitutive requirements of result crimes require the occurrence of a certain result, meaning their acts involve harm or danger to legal interests. Result crimes are further divided into harmful crimes and dangerous crimes. The former are punished based on the actual occurrence of harm to legal interests, while the latter are punished based on the occurrence of danger to certain legal interests. Among these, dangerous crimes are further divided into specific dangerous crimes and abstract dangerous crimes based on the content of the danger to legal interests. From the perspective of the elements that constitutive requirements should possess, acts of crime do not require the occurrence of a result, so they do not involve the issue of failure to complete the crime, nor do they apply the judgment of causation.
