What are the treatments for cervical hypertrophy?

Patient's question:

I've been divorced for about one or two years and haven't been able to get pregnant. I initially thought it wasn't a big deal because I'm young, but later during a gynecological examination, I was surprised to find out that I have cervical hypertrophy. I don't really understand how this disease came about, and the doctor said it needs to be treated with surgery. What kind of assistance I need: What are the treatments for cervical hypertrophy?

Doctor's answer:

Etiology of cervical hypertrophy:
(1) Long-term effects of chronic inflammation, causing congestion and edema of the cervix, and secondary fibrosis of cervical glands and stroma, leading to varying degrees of cervical hypertrophy.
(2) Mucus retention can occur in the deep part of the cervical glands, forming cysts of varying sizes, which can cause cervical hypertrophy.
Cervical hypertrophy usually has no symptoms and does not require treatment. If there are other abnormalities such as cervical erosion, corresponding treatment measures can be taken based on specific conditions.
