Patient's question:
I carefully checked and found that the cervical erosion was not large but quite deep. Can it be treated with medication? If medication is used, can I apply it at home myself?Doctor's answer:
Hello, there are mainly two methods for treating cervical erosion:1. If the cervical erosion is mild, with the erosion area limited to the inner 1/3 of the cervix surrounding the uterine opening and the inflammation is superficial, local medication should be adopted, such as applying local medicated patches, rubbing liquid, or inserting medication into the vaginal cervix. Commonly used medications include Betadine suppositories, Fuyan suppositories, Fuyanling, Kangfu suppositories, etc. With persistent medication, good therapeutic effects can be achieved.
2. If the erosion area extends from the inner 2/3 to the outer 1/3 of the cervix, and the erosion presents as granular or papillary type, physical therapy should be adopted.
