Features: The key to establishing a successful undergraduate program in information security lies in having high-quality teaching materials. Due to various reasons, the history of establishing undergraduate programs in information security in China is very short, and it is still in its early stages. However, at present, a large number of higher education institutions are offering such programs in various forms, and the total number of students is quite substantial. Moreover, most of these students have completed their foundational courses and are about to enter the stage of specialized studies. The Information Security Center at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications is a key laboratory specializing in teaching, research, and technology transfer in information security. This laboratory has cultivated a significant number of cryptography Ph.D.s in China and has established a postdoctoral, doctoral, master's, and undergraduate training system in the fields of "information security" and "cryptography," having trained hundreds of information security graduate students. As one of the textbooks in the series on information security, this book comprehensively and systematically introduces the core technologies of network security, which is one of the main components of information security, and its applications in e-commerce. The content of the book is divided into three parts: The first part conducts a detailed analysis of network systems after briefly introducing the internet system; the second part focuses on the analysis of mainstream technologies in network security; and the third part analyzes the application of network security technologies in e-commerce. Each chapter is followed by exercises to reinforce the relevant knowledge.
