Does crabs have anything to do with cervicitis?

Patient's question:

I recently found out I have cervical inflammation, and 6 months later my husband discovered he had pubic lice. I am now 6 months pregnant. Does my cervical inflammation have anything to do with his pubic lice?

Doctor's answer:

This is the symptom of cervical inflammation. Cervical inflammation is a common gynecological inflammation that can be divided into acute and chronic types. The recurrence of cervical inflammation can cause some harm. In addition to causing some inflammatory conditions, such as cervical erosion, cervical hypertrophy, and cervical polyps, it can also lead to female miscarriage, excessive menstrual flow, prolonged menstruation, and continuous leakage; as well as symptoms like lower abdominal pain, lumbosacral soreness, and dysmenorrhea. Generally, it takes 3–4 courses of treatment, with 2–3 courses for those with milder conditions, and each course lasts 14 days. In fact, having cervical inflammation is not, and patients should believe that they can overcome the illness. As long as symptoms are detected in time and symptomatic treatment is provided, the chances of stabilizing the condition and recovering are very high.
