Features: Psychology (High School Edition) is a book designed for high school students' mental health education. Unlike traditional knowledge-based textbooks, it is an activity-based teaching material. The term "activity class" refers to specially designed activities related to the lesson theme that teachers will arrange in each class—such as games, sharing, and discussions—and then guide students to understand the relevant concepts, knowledge, and methods. In this textbook, we have included the following classroom content:
- "Heartbeat Action" (hopeful classroom games or activities that encourage full participation—once you engage in them, you will surely feel and reflect on them)
- "Touching the Heart" (thought-provoking questions to help you reflect on the activities, encouraging you to think and write your answers in the blank spaces of the book)
- "Psychology Knowledge Base" (relevant psychological knowledge for students interested in reading, after which you can consider how to apply it in your daily life)
- "Soul Soup" (moving stories or materials for reflection and contemplation)
- "Action Power" (psychological assignments to be completed after class, usually tasks that require practical application but differ from regular academic assignments)
- "Post-Class Reflections" (spaces for students to directly write their personal thoughts, feelings, and insights in the textbook—please make sure to jot them down, as they will prove very insightful in the future)
- "Fun Psychological Tests" (some lessons include small, entertaining psychological tests for self-discovery, but these are just for fun. If you wish to gain a more accurate understanding of yourself, please seek professional psychological counseling institutions for professional testing).
The editor-in-chief of this book and the authors of each chapter are experienced university and high school psychology teachers.
