Features: Introducing Japanese Life In 1992, I served as a researcher for the Japan Foundation for International Cultural Exchange and conducted a year-and-a-half-long study on Japanese language teaching methods at the National Institute of Japanese Language. During this period, I received guidance and assistance from Mr. Mizutani Osamu, the director of the Institute, Mr. Kai Mutsumaru, the director of the Japanese Language Education Center, and Ms. Nishihara Suzuko. While in Japan, I conducted extensive research on the learning conditions of foreigners studying Japanese in many language schools, the Japan Defense Agency, and other institutions. Particularly with the development of reform and opening-up, an increasing number of Chinese students have been coming to Japan for study. Upon arrival, many of them face language barriers and lack understanding of Japanese life and customs, leading to various problems. To help students and workers familiarize themselves with Japanese life quickly and master basic daily expressions, this book was compiled based on research conducted in Japan. The book is divided into sections such as scene introductions, scene dialogues, annotations, and related expressions, all closely related to Japanese life. After studying these sections, readers can gain an early understanding of Japanese life and master simple conversations. To pique readers' interest and broaden their knowledge, I have also added a self-assessment section at the end of each lesson for readers to review.
