Features: In recent years, with the adjustment and consolidation of undergraduate majors in universities nationwide, the specialty of fine chemical engineering has been included within related fields, expanding its scope and professional boundaries. To adapt to the new situation and meet the needs of a broad readership and curriculum content settings in relevant institutions, Dalian University of Technology Press has organized a team to revise this book. Chapters such as "Chemical Products Obtained from Natural Gas and Petroleum" in the second edition's Chapter 2 and "Raw Material Sources of Chemical Products Other Than Natural Gas and Petroleum" in Chapter 3 have been removed. New chapters such as "Fundamental Principles of Basic Fine Organic Synthesis," "Fragrances and Aromatics," and "Photographic Materials" have been added, while chapters on agricultural chemicals, petroleum chemicals, plastic additives, and food chemicals have been rewritten and reorganized. After the comprehensive revision, the book now consists of 13 chapters.
