Features: The "New Spanish Reading Textbook" is divided into four volumes and is suitable for first, second, and third-year undergraduate Spanish majors at universities and colleges. This series of textbooks is based on the selection experience of the "Spanish Reading Textbook" (compiled by Cen Chulan, Chen Wangxuan, and Fu Xiaofang, published by FLTRP in 1988), and has been newly selected after gathering feedback from some teachers and students. It retains the original format of the previous textbook but updates all the texts. The main purpose of this book is to improve reading comprehension skills, expand vocabulary, and broaden knowledge. It aims to implement teaching principles such as scientificity, knowledge, practicality, and, and strives for diversity in the themes and genres of the texts. The main content includes simple stories, short dialogues, business and economic articles, and contemporary social issues to meet the needs of the modern era. Each article is accompanied by a vocabulary list to facilitate students' reading and understanding. Volumes 1 and 2 were selected by Cen Chulan and Cai Shaolong, while Volumes 3 and 4 were selected by Li Duo.
