Publish Date: 1999-01-01
Features: This book is the third volume of the four-volume foundational teaching material for the Bulgarian Language program at Beijing Foreign Studies University, designed for second-year students. The book consists of sixteen lessons, with each lesson scheduled to be taught over one week, including texts, supplementary texts, vocabulary, grammar, and exercises. In addition to further expanding students' daily vocabulary, it intentionally incorporates content related to culture, society, politics, literature, and economics, making the textbook more practical. Based on the grammatical phenomena introduced in the first and second volumes, this book provides further summaries, enabling students to gain a deeper understanding and mastery of Bulgarian grammar. At the end of each lesson, there are typical sentences and sentence patterns derived from the texts, which help students grasp the learned material and improve their expressive abilities. The exercises include a higher proportion of translation practice, aiming to enhance students' language proficiency and compensate for the limitations of a non-universal language environment that hinders expression. The entire book introduces over 1,700 new words.
