Features: The second volume of Polish is a textbook for the second semester of the first year for Polish majors in universities. In terms of lesson structure, it is closely connected to the first volume. Therefore, it should be implemented after students have fully mastered the content of the second volume. The second volume of Polish consists of 28 lessons, containing over 1,800 new words, and adopts a intensive teaching approach, with 2 lessons taught per week (16–18 class hours per week). Some lessons may extend class time based on students' learning progress until they fully master the material. All lessons are completed within 16 weeks. The examples in this volume have been slightly adjusted, changing to: Introduction, Exercises – Text – Review Exercises. The book continues to systematically summarize and summarize morphology. Texts are still primarily dialog-based, providing opportunities to use language in specific contexts. The review exercises section has also been expanded and made more challenging. To improve students' reading skills, teachers can also supplement appropriate reading materials during instruction. This volume focuses on introducing the following grammatical phenomena: verb moods, the declension of adjectives and adverbs, the formation and usage of gerunds, passive and active participles, the formation and usage of simultaneous and preliminary adverbial verbs, the subjunctive mood, impersonal verb forms, and sentence fragments. The authors' intention is to enable students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the main grammatical phenomena of Polish after one year of study, laying a foundation for future learning. For ease of learning, a Polish declension and conjugation table is provided at the end of the book.
