Features: Due to the implementation of further opening-up policies, exchanges between China and Japan have become increasingly frequent in recent years, and the scope of these exchanges has also broadened. The opportunity to write various types of Japanese application documents has grown accordingly. As a result, how to write various Japanese application documents has become a frequently discussed issue among Japanese professionals and learners. They urgently hope for a comprehensive reference book on Japanese application documents to serve as a guide when writing. To date, several books on Japanese letters have been published domestically. However, the content of these books generally focuses on introducing various types of Japanese letters, with little coverage of other application documents. To address this gap, we have compiled this book, "Application Documents." This book is divided into six chapters. Chapter 1: Common Official Documents, which is further divided into 9 sections, includes 79 examples. It provides detailed introductions to the functions, characteristics, and writing formats and requirements of official documents such as notices, announcements, applications, orders, agreements, certificates, and notices. Chapter 2: Common Receipts and Notes, which is divided into 3 sections, includes 29 examples. It primarily introduces the formats and writing methods of receipts, IOUs, sick leave notes, pledges, self-criticism letters, etc. Chapter 3: Legal Documents, which is divided into 3 sections, includes 29 examples. It primarily introduces the characteristics, formats, and writing methods of legal documents such as marriage certificates, divorce decrees, birth certificates, death certificates, inheritance documents, various lawsuits, and real estate transactions. This can serve as a reference for those handling international marriages or inheriting property in Japan. Chapter 4: Social Letters, which is divided into 7 sections, includes 119 examples. It provides detailed introductions to the different writing methods of social letters such as postcards, congratulatory letters, (consolation letters), notice letters, invitation letters, thank-you letters, introduction letters, and recommendation letters. Chapter 5: Foreign Trade Letters, which is divided into 6 sections, includes 34 examples. It introduces the formats and writing methods of commonly used letters in foreign trade, such as contracts and agreements, orders, returns, price inquiries, price quotations, insurance, claims, sample requests, and transportation issues. Chapter 6: Telegrams, Telex, and Faxes, which is divided into 3 sections. It provides detailed introductions to the characteristics, functions, formats, and writing methods of telegrams, telex, and faxes. The chapters and sections of this book are titled in Chinese, while the names of each document and letter under the sections are presented in Japanese, accompanied by their pronunciation. This is done to help readers not only understand how to write these documents and letters but also learn their Japanese terms. All examples in the book are accompanied by reference translations.
