Do doctors experience pain from ectopic pregnancy?

Patient's question:

I am 23 years old this year, and I have been married to my husband for three years. Then, I am currently pregnant, and after a thorough examination at the hospital, it was found to be an ectopic pregnancy. I am very worried about my health, and is that okay? Will it be very painful here? So, I want to ask, is ectopic pregnancy painful?

Doctor's answer:

In general, patients who experience ectopic pregnancy again rarely accompany it with a sense of pain, but there is also a small minority of people who do experience pain. In most cases, ectopic pregnancy patients will again present with symptoms such as delayed menstruation, breast tenderness, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, loss of appetite, and a constant desire to take naps. Regarding your recurring pain, it is still recommended that you have a thorough check-up.
