Features: In modern times, with the development of linguistics and various applied styles and literature, the study of stylistics has broken through traditional boundaries, becoming a comprehensive discipline that combines the strengths of linguistics and literary arts. Comrade Wang Huanyun has long been devoted to the study of linguistic stylistics and has published more than 20 research papers over the past decade. On this basis, he has recently written A Brief Discussion on Chinese Stylistics, a monograph named after the discipline of stylistics. It will undoubtedly play a positive role in promoting the development of this academic field of modern Chinese linguistic stylistics.
