What are the reasons for vaginal itching a few days before menstruation if you are not married?

Patient's question:

Yesterday during the gynecological examination, I found out I have uterine fibroids. The doctor said surgery is not necessary, but several of my colleagues have this condition and they all had surgery. Which types of uterine fibroids require surgical treatment?

Doctor's answer:

The following situations require surgical intervention:
1. In terms of size, the uterus shrinks to the size of a 3-month pregnancy.
2. From a symptomatic perspective, if there is a recurrence of excessive menstrual bleeding, secondary anemia, or compression of the bladder causing urinary frequency or difficulty urinating, or compression of the rectum causing bowel dysfunction, surgical intervention is necessary regardless of the size of the fibroid.
3. The fibroid grows rapidly in a short period, and ultrasound indicates rich blood flow, making malignancy impossible to rule out.
4. If planning to conceive, the fibroid diameter is greater than 4 centimeters.
5. Fibroids located at the cervix.
