Features: The book consists of 10 chapters, elaborating on the formation patterns and mechanisms of Chinese linguistic style, as well as the principles and rationales for style creation and analysis. Chapter 1 provides a new, multi-dimensional interpretation of the connotation of the definition of Chinese linguistic style, reflecting the development of my linguistic style perspective. Chapter 2 further elaborates on the research objects, scope, tasks, and disciplinary nature of Chinese linguistic style studies, as well as the essential characteristics of linguistic style. Chapter 7 introduces high-level style types, such as expressive style, along with their origins and the generative patterns of humorous and solemn styles, which were not present in the original "Exploration." Chapters 8 and 9 are more comprehensive than the original "Exploration." Chapter 10 introduces and highlights the individual linguistic styles of representative writers.
