Features: "The Four-Taste Book House Collection of Calligraphy and Painting" aims to reflect the systematic nature of the works from various Ming and Qing dynasty schools that the collector has meticulously collected over decades. This volume places special emphasis on cataloging. Most of the included works were initially untitled, but they were later named based on the inscriptions and themes of the pieces. The works were originally categorized into scrolls, albums, and fan-shaped pieces, but for easier reference, they are arranged alphabetically by author. Brief introductions and descriptions are provided for all authors and their works. During the compilation, corrections were provided by Mr. Lao Hui and Mr. Gu Feng, to whom we extend our sincere gratitude. Due to limited time and the compiler's expertise, any omissions or errors are kindly requested to be pointed out by knowledgeable readers.
