How to deal with contraception?

Patient's question:

After the menstrual period, about seven or eight days later, we started having sex, and we continued for several days. I'm a bit worried that we might get pregnant after having sex during ovulation, but I don't know how to estimate it. If it's been six days since the recent period, we've been having sex quite frequently these last two days. What should we do about breastfeeding?

Doctor's answer:

Breastfeeding is mainly implemented through breastfeeding tools, which has fewer side effects and can prevent the meeting of sperm and eggs, thereby achieving some effects of breastfeeding. Except for one situation, which is to have intercourse during the safe period while skipping the ovulation period, the chance of pregnancy will be much lower. However, any method of breastfeeding is not 100% effective, and confirmation can be done through pregnancy tests.
