New Japanese garden design. The key to pathway design is ensuring ease of use. Even in narrow spaces, it's important to make them as wide and long as possible for comfortable walking. Plan the paving and width of the pathways accordingly. If not careful, you might fall into the mistake of first considering the building and then thinking about the pathways afterward. By the time you reach the stage of completing the building, you'll start planning the pathways and face numerous obstacles such as water pipes, meter boxes, sockets, and outdoor equipment. If the building is only considered in two dimensions, it will be difficult to imagine how to complete it, especially for non-professionals. Even professional architects, if they don't think in three dimensions, may end up placing unnecessary items in important areas, designing steep stairs, or creating difficult-to-navigate pathways. During the process of modifying these issues, both the construction company and the client will waste unnecessary money and time. Therefore, when undertaking architectural design, it's essential to reserve space for pathways and garages before proceeding with other projects.
When aiming to design with kindness to people in mind, I've learned two key insights. The first is to have a heart for the users. Whether it's the elderly or children, everyone should be able to walk comfortably without any obstacles or risks of falling. The second is to make it aesthetically pleasing, simple, and stylish. This is very important.
