Features: Lead is a heavy metal with multi-organ toxicity, and it should not be present in the normal human body. Even trace amounts of lead in the body can cause irreversible damage to the brain, severely affecting children's intellectual development and growth. One-third of urban children in China suffer from lead poisoning, which has seriously impacted the quality of future generations. Symptoms such as declining academic performance, hyperactivity, poor memory, and vision impairment are associated with lead poisoning. The fundamental solution to children's lead poisoning is prevention and nutritional therapy. This book provides a clear answer. The content mainly covers eight aspects: the human understanding of lead and its toxic effects, occupational lead poisoning and its prevention, the hazards of lead poisoning, especially lead exposure during pregnancy, the causes of children's lead poisoning, early detection of children's lead poisoning, the diagnosis and treatment of children's lead poisoning, and China's strategies for preventing and treating children's lead poisoning. Over the years, we have been exposed to various testing methods, medications, and health supplements, and we pioneered the integration of preventive advice, medication, dietary therapy, sensory integration therapy, and emotional training for the prevention and treatment of children's lead poisoning. We have summarized many experiences, which are briefly described in the text for reference. It should be noted that there are currently no established guidelines for comprehensively conducting clinical diagnosis and prevention of children's lead poisoning in China, and continuous exploration, research, and clinical practice are still needed.
