Patient's question:
Recently, I've been experiencing lower back and coccyx pain, and it's very difficult to urinate. My vaginal discharge has increased and turned yellow, along with itching and pain in the external genitalia. After a thorough laparoscopic examination, it was found to be severe cervical erosion. Can cervical erosion be treated with medication? I want to recover quickly and have a second child with my husband.Doctor's answer:
The treatment for cervical erosion has two methods. One is that for 1-degree and 2-degree cervical erosion, this condition is generally treated through medication. As for 3-degree cervical erosion, which is severe cervical erosion, this is generally treated through surgical LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure). This is because the area of erosion is already quite large, and medication alone is not as effective.
